Local Moves

A move is considered local if it meets the following two criteria:

— The move should originate and end in the same state.

— The total distance of the move must be under 50-100 miles.

Long Distance Moves/Interstate Moves

When you are moving to a different state or moving across country your move will be classified as a long distance move. These moves are also referred to as Interstate moves as you are moving across state lines. Unlike a local move, interstate moves are not priced by the hour. Instead, the price of such a move is determined by the inventory and distance of your move.

Full Service Moves

A full service move is one that Moving Forward Transit does all the work for you. Packing, loading, driving the truck and unloading items at the final destination.

Load or Unload services

If you have your own truck, POD or connex trailer that needs to be loaded, unloaded or both then we can supply you with labor to ensure the most efficient move possible.

Packing Services

If you are conducting your own move but want to make sure your items are packed correctly to be protected for your long haul then we can help. We can apply our 7 years knowledge in the moving industry to pack your items properly.
